Small Inn with Convenient Location and Pleasant Owners

Ca'Del Dose has only 6-7 rooms on three floors. The owners, Anna and Marco, are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms aren't fancy, but are nicely decorated. The bathrooms and showers are small, but functional. Breakfast consists of packaged pastries and instant coffee or tea in your room, but there is a nice coffee and pastry shop right around the corner.

The location couldn't be better. It is a 5-10 minute walk to St. Mark's Square and the vaporetto (Water Bus) stop (Arsenale) is about 3 minutes away. There are two restaurants next door and a "residential piazza" four doors down. Local families come out in the evenings to watch their children playing. It's a nice atmosphere, and it's not noisy at night.

The price of the rooms are incredible. We paid 105 for a "suite" with a double bedroom, a separate single bedroom and 1 bathroom. We also paid 80 for a separate double room.

We were a family of six and children were welcomed there. If you want lots of amenities, this isn't the place for you. If you are looking for nice, clean rooms in a quiet residential area for a great price, this is it. The hosts go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. You are off the beaten path, yet very close to the action along the Riva degli Schiavoni.
