In the heart of the town of Greve, Chianti. Wi-Fi. Free parking in rear. Friendly owners (small family run place). Large antique-filled rooms, clean bathrooms. {3 stars}

Frankly, we were just looking for a place with Wi-Fi since we hadn't checked our e-mail in a few days, but this hotel gave us Wi-Fi and more! It's a small hotel, only a few rooms, but they're large, clean rooms with high ceilings and antique furniture. Some rooms have balconies. The bathrooms are also large and clean.

The hotel is run by a young family ... father at the front desk, his wife handling giving directions on nearby restaurants to the guests as she watches her young child play. The hotel is right downtown, a couple of blocks from the main town square and some great restaurants. We had wonderful gelato (double chocolate) at a place just a few steps from the hotel. After weeks of walking up and down hills in Tuscany, Greve was a pleasure because it's flat and easy to walk in and park in.

There's a huge city-owned free parking lot just behind the hotel. The hotel has a bar. No English channels on TV. Great breakfast included with your room!
