Cascina Sant'Eufemia is a wonderful, friendly and well located B&B that affords easy access to the beautiful Piedmont countryside.

Cascina Sant'Eufemia is a B&B located a few miles east of Sinio in the wonderful Langhe countryside.

It is a working vineyard and hazelnut farm and offers four rooms. The rooms, while not luxurious, are clean, comfortable and served us well. The views from the B&B are mesmerizing: miles of rolling vineyards, farms and woodlands, with views of hilltop towns, castles and the distant alps.

Breakfasts could not be better: delicious local cheeses, salami, yogurt, homemade baked goods and bread and freshly squeezed juices.

The B&B is well located for visiting the many castles and hill towns of the region and there are dozens of wonderful restaurants in striking distance.

But the greatest strength of the B&B is its hosts, Paolo and Chiara. Both speak English well and are friendly, smart, funny and always ready to help and give advice. Chiara's parents are also a delight and their two dogs are friendly and cute. There are many great lodging choices in Piedmont, ranging from world class resorts to the more simple. But it is hard to imagine one that has more friendliness and personality than Cascina Sant'Eufemia. It is in a perfect setting and gives you a topnotch launching point to explore this enchanting area.
