I have stayed here many times because it is a good value.

No TV or radio but a good location with a good view from the balcony.

The rooms are comfortable and functional. There have been upgrades: an enclosed shower, better breakfast and a little increase in price - 75 euros for a double.

Great location, spartan room, good price.

The website is accurate. It does not show much of the rooms because they are a bit Spartan (no TV, radio, dresser).

It has good views, very clean, a good location and a good price. There has been a price increase and a double is now 75 euros a night.

Great room, great location and great view.

Loved this hotel which I believe is a convent ... It does have a curfew at 1AM but that was not a problem for us. We were three in a room and it was €80 and €5 per person if you wanted breakfast. I would pass on that for any future bookings.

We had the top floor with a tiny balcony overlooking the city and the back of the Duomo.

The staff was really helpful and gave us a great restaurant recommendation. It was in walking distance of the historic part of the city. We also had access to the internet. It was free for 20 min. a day and if you went over that you would be charged €1 for an additional hour.

Quiet, simple and beautiful

Free parking available, you can drop your luggage fairly close, but you must park a few blocks away, the receptionist will let you know where to park

Location: around corner from San Domenico church, very close to Duomo and ‘Il Campo

Check in: buzz at the iron gate to be let in to a garden area, then to a reception area; efficient staff

Price: 75 euros for a triple w/bathroom (1 star rating)

View: Beautiful terrace looking at the Duomo

Room: very clean, small but sufficient, large closet, small bathroom w/shower, but no curtain

Incredible sitting area, guidebooks tell us this used to be a convent and is run by nuns, who were at the reception desk both mornings

11:30 p.m. curfew

Recommendation: wonderful, would positively stay again!

The Alma Domus is basic and clean. Located inside the walls it is a bargain.

Alma Domus rooms are clean and basic but we had a balcony looking out at the Duomo and the bathroom had a shower stall. No television or phone but at €60 a night it is a good deal. The location within the walls is great.

Clean, small, simple, no frills budget accommodation.

A good location in Siena with basic room and private bath. €75 for a triple. We had a balcony with a view of the dome of the Duomo and the top of the torre del Mangia.

The room was small, no TV, and the bath did not have a seperate shower stall; the shower head and drain were in the floor. The room was very clean and the location was good. I recommend it if you want to save money.

11:30pm curfew.

Budget accommodation with a view.

Simple, very clean rooms with private bathroom and shower. The room we stayed in had fantastic views of the duomo and the town hall tower. We also had a small balcony with morning sun. Good location.

No breakfast included in room price (€55) but available at additional price. We had our breakfast in nearby cafes.

There is a curfew at 11.30pm.
