Reasonably priced hotel alternative away from central Florence.

I loved the building the convent is located in. It is in a beautiful, large villa on a very busy street near Piazzale Michelangelo. Although my room #13 was located on the busy, very noisy street, other guests said their rooms were very quiet. Of course, it is spotless.

My room was quite large, with a sizeable bathroom and large shared terrace (although I never saw anyone on it). I paid 43E a night for my room. If you like walking, it is a good location. Wide range of people staying here, couples, singles. I met people from Australia and France.

Breakfast a little spare (fresh roll), but since I don't eat cereal, I can't remember what else there was (although no yogurt). Only advice is to bring your own hand soap (they had none).
