Very nice, clean affittacamera on Lipari right off the main road.

This is not really a hotel. It is an affittacamere. It is owned and run by a South African woman named Diana Brown. Each room has a private entrance. They are all simple rooms. Very basic and extremely clean. My room was a double. It consisted of a double bed, an armoire, a bookshelf, and a small kitchen table and two chairs. It had a small refrigerator and a full bathroom with shower. It was also air conditioned and had a small balcony with a hanging rack for towels. She also rents out efficency apartments. The building is right off the main road and is very quiet at night.

Diana is a very nice woman and takes reservations by email. Her email is: dbrown@netnet.it She meets you at the port when your boat comes in and brings you back to the building. She works during the day in town booking boat excursions. She is very friendly and gives good advice on seeing the island. I paid 80 euro for my double room in high season.
