Lovely B&B in old building with character, situated in quiet street just off the Via Fillungo in the centre of Lucca, near restaurants and shops.

I stayed here for one night on my way south and wished I could have spent longer. The room overlooked the street, which was very quiet despite being right in the centre of the city.

The staff are only available in the morning or after 3pm in the afternoon, so time your arrival accordingly. The people I saw were very friendly and welcoming.

Single room cost €50 including breakfast, which was on a tray in the room. There was a coffee machine and water cooler on the landing which guests could use at any time.

There is also a reading room available for guests to use.
