Fancy 5 star, great location, near Duomo etc. Just a bit stuffy.

The hotel and our room was beatifully decorated and furnished with a cozy feel. Our room had no view. The hotel is in a great location being walking distance to most of the "must see" sites which was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I just thought the hotel itself was a bit stuffy for my taste. The hotel bar was empty and the drinks were way over-priced. I would probably not stay here again for those reasons, but I would still strongly recommend this hotel for all of its other attributes. While in Italy, we also stayed at Covo Dei Saraceni in Positano, Locando Orseolo in Venice and Boscolo Hotel Exedra in Rome. Exedra was our favorite hotel of them all.
