Lovely Hotel away from the crowds, large rooms, very clean and reasonably priced.

The Hotel is one block from the San Stae vaporetto stop, on the slow #1 boat - it is 11 stops to Piazza San Marco. But the hotel is lovely, immaculately clean very modern with flat screen TV's and air conditioning. The breakfast room is a lovely courtyard and the breakfast was very nice.

The area has many shops and less than 10 minutes walk to the Rialto bridge. There was a small art museum and palazzo several doors down. It is very quiet and lovely. We were a family of four and stayed in the annex. There was no elevator but they helped us with the luggage. For the able bodied as we were on the 4th floor.

A wonderful little hotel behind the San Stae church and the vaporetto stop. The room was beautifully done Venetian style, and reasonably priced. {2 stars}

Our room was quite large and included a bathtub - to my delight. The bathroom was large, modern and spotless. The walls were covered in a thick red brocade fabric that had foam underneath for soundproofing. Not that it needed it, since the hotel is located in a quiet area.

We had large windows but no view, only to the building right next to it, but that was okay for us since we spent little time in our room. A nice breakfast of pastries; the croissants were hot and filled with apricot jam, along with cereals and fruit, juice and coffee.

Walter and Allesandro were gracious hosts and made reservations for us for tours. The price was very reasonable, 150 euros a night. Although only a 2 star hotel, I think it rates a 3rd star and would stay here again.

This 2 star no-smoking hotel is located minutes from the San Stae vaporetto stop in the Santa Croce area of Venice.

It was easy to find. The owners and staff were all extremely helpful. My room was very large for a single room. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was served outside in the courtyard.

I paid 105 euros per night. I booked through Venere.com but you can also book straight through the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely quiet hotel in convenient location. {2 stars}

We really enjoyed our stay at this small hotel; the staff was friendly, the location convenient and it was peaceful and quiet when we needed a break.

It is located close to San Stae vaporetto stop, about 10 minutes walk to Rialto, but in a quiet residential area. It is very clean, recently remodelled with obvious attention to details and beautifully decorated in Venetian style.

Our room was quite big, with one large bed plus 2 very comfortable extra beds for our kids made up from convertable chairs. The bathroom would compare favourably with many first class hotels we have stayed in in North America. It contained gleaming tile, plenty of towels, an excellent shower and a large tub for soaking out the damp chill of Venice.

Even though it was November we were able to eat breakfast in the private courtyard. The food was very fresh every morning and included great coffee (and hot chocolate for the children) made to order.

The staff (owners) were very helpful with maps and directions, local restaurant recommendations and tour reservations.

We would stay here again if (when) we get back to Venice. It is listed as 2 stars, but that doesn't really reflect the comfort and quality of this hotel.
