Beautiful hotel in extremely convenient location in Palermo. Great panoramic terrace, airconditioning, perfect reception. {3 stars}

We rented a room at the Hotel Ambasciatori directly through their website, after finding many good reviews on the Venere.com website.

The hotel is 10 minutes away from the central train station, on Via Roma, one of Palermo main streets. It's a safe and convenient location, from where we were able to walk everywhere.

We were disappointed by the city itself, as we did not expect such a run down place, although there are very beautiful churches and buildings. But the hotel was the best choice we could possibly make.

The room was exactly as presented on the website: spacious and clean. Most importantly, it had airconditioning, essential for the suffocating heat.

The only bad surprise was that the fast internet connection advertised was not available, but it was a temporary condition they said, and it was really no big deal.

The plus is the roof terrace from where you can see the roofs of the whole city centre. Spectacular place to start the day or read in the evening, with soft background music and all.

The people at the reception desk were friendly and helpful and we thought we received a great treatment.

We definitely recommend this hotel if you decide to visit Palermo. We booked the room for 4 nights and paid 85 euros per night for a double room, inclusive of buffet breakfast.
