When: June 2007

Nice decor, clean, great bathrooms, internet in lobby, breakfast buffet. {3 stars}

Our room, photo by Me

Ariosto was a quiet, pretty deco-style hotel on the edge of the Magenta area of Milan. Magenta is an up and coming area - the main street has some nice restaurants and a great grocery store! About 4-5 blocks from the Last Supper, too.

The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a couple of English speaking cable stations on the TV. The marble bath was Large, very clean and had some great accoutrements!

Hotel has pay internet in the lobby, and a restaurant with a breakfast buffet. The buffet looked great - all kinds of wonderful pastries. BUT - Don't order the buffet in your room. We ordered croissants (checked off *their* list) and they brought us Melba Toast ... and wouldn't remove the croissant charge from our bill. Not cool. That was our only complaint...
