A lovely, small 4-star hotel, on the Arno and near the Ponte Vecchio.

We stayed here for a week. We had a great deal from Expedia, the equivalent of about US$100/night (we booked the hotel and flight together).

The hotel is wonderfully located near everything. It's quiet and very clean. Rooms were good sized. Beds were made up with new, clean, ironed sheets everyday (I love that about Italy). Turn-down service. Breakfast was lovely: cold meats and cheeses, breads and pastries, cereals, yogurt, fruit, eggs, bacon, etc.

The only down-side is that the location, right near the Ponte Vecchio, is very "touristy." Once we realized that we should NOT try to eat too near the hotel (prices tend to lower as you move away from the bridge and the nearby squares), we did fine. I recommend this hotel, especially at the off-season rate we paid.
