A cute little hotel on a back street in a very good location in Castello. {3 star}

This small 16-room hotel is near St. Marks, and surprisingly very quiet. Owned and run by a Venetian family that was always very friendly and helpful. No elevator in this three to four story hotel, and the stairs are steep. Beds were not comfortable. Continental breakfast was good; the caffe latte was wonderful! 170 euros for a double room. Despite the stairs we would recommend this hotel for the value, excellent location, easy access to vaporetti and water taxi. Recommended by Sally Watkins, CTC.
