Okay place if you need one for the night. {3 stars}

Due to some family research in the area we stayed here. Based from the website it looked to be pretty nice but it turned out to be just "okay" - but not totally horrible either.

The hotel, looks like it was built in the 50's, is a contemporary style hotel that needs upgrading badly as all that has been done over the years is some paint and some newer furniture. The hotel has quite a few rooms, with a lift, and they are spacious. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. The towels are the sheet type, not terry, and the bath fixtures needed changing as they were tarnished. It was air conditioned and did have a cable tv but all Italian channels.

The hotel lobby is a little "smoky" smelling as the staff does smoke in their offices directly behind the desk. The Hotel does have a ristorante where the food is good but not great and it is very, very inexpensive. E5-E10 for primi & secondi. There are a lot of business people who stay here and there is a free car park.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is not far from the A3. For a night on the way to someplace else, it is acceptable but I wouldn't stay a long time here. It is also in a better area than some of the hotels we saw over by the water in Salerno ... as least there are no streetwalkers out front!
