Great terrace, adequate rooms, air conditioning and breakfast-can't ask for more!
We arrived earlier than planned, around 10AM and our room was ready. The front desk staff was polite and helpful and perhaps even cheerful!
We took the elevator to our fourth (fifth) floor room. The room was typical in size for hotel rooms in Rome, but more than adequate for our needs. The air conditioning was a god send! The bathroom was also a good size for Rome, but it had that skinny round bottom tub that makes it hard to stand properly. The towels were large, too. The hair dryer leaves a little to be desired, but it was July, who wants to blow hot air on themselves.
The room also had a choice of pillows and several outlets allowing us to charge our phones and camera.
Its decor is, um, interesting. A sort of Baroque Gaudy theme, but relatively new and very clean.
Breakfast was served on the roof top terrace and had a wide selection of pastry, meats, fruit, cheese and even hard boiled eggs (sadly, I have to take it easy on the gluten...). The terrace was a great place to sit, not much of a view but lots of greenery. I imagine when it's not inferno like outdoors it would be a great place to sit.
The hotel is also very close to Termini, although not so close that you notice it. We walked everywhere, including to the Vatican (45 minutes) and had no problems.
