Truly a luxury hotel, a 4* plus. Located on Florence's best shopping street - Via di Tournabouni. Easy walking to great restaurants.

The hotel is elegantly appointed in every way, modern marble baths, and American-style A/C even in October. Fresh flowers and a basket greeted us on arrival in our Junior Suite. (€290 per day.)

A bountiful breakfast buffet, VAT and taxes were included in our rate - a bargain for Florence during high season. The hotel has a large, elegant bar with half-price drinks from 6-7 PM. Otherwise, drinks were very expensive. Service was efficient and professional in every way, and we were just two doors down from the Antinori family's wine bar, Cantinetta Antinori.

Via di Tournabouni is considered to be one of Florence's very best shopping streets, and within walking distance of several great restaurants, the Duomo, the market, etc. We loved it!
