Vicenza: Hotel Due Mori

Corso Mazzini, 73

Reviewed by: caplanco from CO, review #1717

When: October 2006

An older hotel, reasonably priced, in a convenient location.

The Due Mori is an older hotel in center of town, walking distance to Teatro Olympio. There is no parking in front of the hotel as it's on a pedestrian shopping street, but they can give you a 15 minute permit so you can unload luggage. There is parking on nearby streets. It is not easy to drive to the hotel as most streets are one way so you have to take a circuitous route.

Friendly, helpful staff. There is an elevator. The hallways are narrow but clean and quiet. Reasonably priced at E77 per night.

Room 21 has a high wood raftered ceiling with a ceiling fan. The fan had an annoying squeak at intervals, so we did not use it. Comfortable matrimoniale bed. Adequate bathroom with small shower.
