Good value, good location, nice family owned hotel. {1 star}

At E77 a night, this was an inexpensive hotel in Stresa. I was therefore quite pleased with a room with a balcony (compete with chairs and table) and the friendly family staff.

The view was of the hills behind the town, not lake view, but still nice. The mini fridge had a plate and spoon and two glasses in case you brought food back to the room. The hotel was above a bar the family owned and right on a major piazza about two blocks from the lake.
