Clean, quiet, close to train station! {2 star}

The Hotel Florida was clean, quiet and literally around the corner from Venice's train station. The staff was gracious and very responsive to my request for a room on their lowest floor (I was traveling with my parents who are in their late 70s).

The hotel's proximity to the train station and the large vaporetto stop in front of the station make it a good base from which to explore Venice. While the main thoroughfare is crowded and noisy, you will miss the little side street for this hotel if you aren't careful. I would stay here again.
