Nice place just minutes from Trieste/FVG airport. {3 star}

We spent one night at Hotel Furlan. We needed a decent place to stay near the Trieste/FVG Airport, and Hotel Furlan sure fit the bill. It was a 5-minute taxi ride to the terminal.

We arrived at the hotel after a long day's drive from Croatia. It was easy to find off the Redipuglia exit from the A4. The rooms were comfortable and air conditioned. Satellite TV but nothing in English. The staff was as friendly as could be; Elena at the bar repeatedly filled our boys' "sippy cups" and never charged us a dime. Paolo in the dining room chased our kids around and had them laughing.

We enjoyed dinner at the hotel restaurant - a mixed antipasto tray, excellent pastas and a beautiful platter of grilled vegetables.

Our triple room with a a crib was €82 per night. My father-in-law's single room was €55. Dinner for three adults and two children was €65.
