Give this hotel a big miss. Very, very disappointing!! {4 star}

Having traveled Italy extensively (and the world), I have never been in a situation where an establishment showed an utter disregard to the effects of arbitrarly canceling 4 confirmed rooms - within only one week of our having just stayed here in 5 rooms. These reservations had been made 3 months prior with multiple confirmations.

They rate this hotel a 4 star (given the service it can only warrant a 2 star at best). Was told by the manager after traveling in 3 different taxis across town from Termini rail station, that "if we didn't like it, we could call the police, but you're not staying here tonight". This purportedly because they had booked in a group recently that was taking up 12 rooms. Now how's that for service!!!

Sorry, Hotel Genio - that manager should be fired and you should pay attention to other reader reviews!!!
