Three Star Hotel? I don't think so. Very disappointed in room quality and cleanliness.

We were originally supposed to stay at Hotel Casci, also on Via Cavour. However, when we arrived they told us there was a problem with the rooms and we'd be staying down the street at Hotel Gioia. The assured us it was a similar hotel with a three star rating.

The front desk was very friendly at Hotel Gioia. They showed us to our room. It was large with four single beds in it. Very uncomfortable beds. The walls were chipped and dirty. Hair on the floor. Breakfast was adequate if you like stale buns, yogurt, etc. The coffee was good.

We did not pick the hotel, but this is not a three star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. Slightly above a hostel. We paid 150 euros to stay here. We noted that another guest paid 90 euros. We checked online while having breakfast and the current rate was 70 euros a night.

I clearly do not recommend this hotel. Maybe at E50-70 and you travel with a backpack but not if you are used to better quality and service.
