Lovely hotel in residential neighborhhod. {4 stars}

Hotel Giulio Cesare offers a lovely setting in a quiet corner of Rome, the San Pietro district. It is an easy walk to many tourist attractions and located within a few blocks of bus lines.

Our room was large, well furnished, air conditioned, and quiet. There is a garden to the rear of the building where breakfast was served. I believe our nightly rate was (the equivalent of) $230.

My husband and I have visited Rome many times but hadn't stayed in this area previously, so it offered us a new experience in the city. I would definitely return to Hotel Giulio Cesare.
