This hotel had a convenient location, but was more than disappointing in every other aspect. {3 stars}

This was supposedly a 3 * hotel. The cost was E300 a night. It included a very limited breakfast. It is located close to the Rialto Bridge and very easy to find.

It had no elevator. We stayed 4 nights in a very small, smelly room. It was room #1 on the first floor. The bathroom was not actually a room but a corner. I could not fit my leg into the shower.

The staff acted like and looked like they were working in a "flop house" minus the cigars. In the reception area the walls were peeling and carpet was torn.

Four days after we left this hotel, my husband and I, both rather healthy, came down with upper respiratory infections including conjuctivitis and ear infections. Hubby believes the infections were due to the antiquated air conditioning.

I found this hotel to be very expensive, and not very clean. We certainly did not get what we paid for and suggest everyone to stay clear of this hotel.
