Nice Hotel but didn't live up to expectations.

The hotel was in a great location and the rooms were nice and clean. They helped us with reservations prior to arrival.

However, once we arrived, the staff seemed cold and disinterested. We had a private patio attached to our room and when we arrived back after a day of touring, there was a cigarette in the ashtray and we don't smoke. A little disconcerting.

The breakfast was lovely but there was a surcharge for a spoonful of fruit I put on my cereal. Apparently there was a sign but i didn't see it. All in all I would say it was a nice hotel but compared to the hospitality we experienced in the other places we stayed in Italy it was a little disappointing.
