A friendly relaxed vegetarian hotel in Tuscany felt like home away from home.

This hotel is in a mostly unknown town half way between Florence and Pisa. We stayed there because it was cheaper than any other vegetarian place we could find. However, we are very glad we did!

Montecatini Terme is a haven after the busy and hot cities of Tuscany but really easy to get almost everywhere we wished by public transport. The hotel is non-smoking (rare in Italy) and had a pretty good vegetarian menu which you choose from in the morning over breakfast.

The staff were really helpful and couldn't do enough to accommodate our needs and wishes. When we left after five days we felt like we were leaving a family's home.

only complaint would be that parking is pretty difficult in this town if you choose to hire a car.
