A great hotel with lovely accommodations, situated in the heart of Monterosso with easy access to beautiful beaches and shops and restaurants.

Hotel La Colonnina is a little jewel of a hotel in Monterosso. These are lovely, modern rooms that are sparkling clean.

The staff is friendly and helpful and will make you feel so welcome. They provide beach towels in sunny weather and if it should rain they have umbrellas at the door. You are steps away from the town and the beach. It's a perfect location to sun all day and then come back shower and hit the town for apperitivos and dinner by the water. This place is fantastic and I heartily recommend. They have sun decks on the upper level with beautiful views of the water.

We were there in the summer of 2007 and the rate was 120 euros for a 2 person room. There is a beautiful breakfast room with tall windows that open to let the sea breezes in. Breakfasts are really ample to start your day ... lots and lots of choices with fresh fruit, yoghurts, pastries, meats, cheeses, breads, coffee, juices etc. I would return here in a heartbeat. It's truly wonderful! We loved everything about this hotel.

You must book a minimum of 3 nights and you must send a deposit in the form of a bank draft in euro or traveler's cheques in euro to the hotel. This may seem to be somewhat of an inconvenience but it's worth the trouble.
