Location, Location, Location! Terrific 3 star hotel on the waterfront. Very nice hotel for the money and we would definitely stay here again.

This is hotel is located right on the waterfront in front of the little Amalfi harbor. It has been run by the same family for eighteen years.

There were eight of us traveling together requiring four rooms at €154 per night. The rooms were all located on the seaside and all varied slightly in decor and size. The corner room on the third floor had balconies on two sides of the hotel instead of just one. There are stocked refrigerators in each room but we found that they charged you €2.00 a day if you placed something of your own in them.

All rooms were clean, and had large bathrooms, but I must admit the furniture was slightly out of date. This didn't at all affect our stay there. The deck on the top floor was the perfect place to end an evening with small cafe tables and deck chairs - limoncello not included.

We had breakfast each morning at the restaurant on the first floor; the usual cereal, pastries and fruit, coffee and juice. One could order eggs but there was an extra charge if you did so. On one occasion, the service was a little off for breakfast. We did not have occasion to eat dinner or lunch there but both were available.

On our first day there, my husband left his wallet laying on the bed with alot of cash and all credit cards in it. Upon discovering this hours after leaving the hotel, we called and requested a manager go to our room and try and locate the missing wallet. When we returned later that evening, the manager kindly handed him his wallet with the complete contents intact. The integrity and honesty of the hotel management and staff scored a ten with us. We will definitely stay there again.
