Okay for an overnight before departing. {3 star}

This airport hotel would be more likely classified as a "motel" but for an overnight before departing, it's okay. Desk service was friendly and helpful enough (the desk clerk remembered us the next morning and called us over to take a phone call that had just come in for us); rooms are basic, nothing outstanding or fancy but clean, albeit a bit beaten up around the edges from suitcases whacking the walls and mouldings. Things quieted down fairly early and we didn't hear planes resuming flights low overhead until about 6:45 a.m.

The major drawback is that there are no restaurants in the vicinity except the dismal one in the hotel (which I'd been warned about in advance and we didn't go into) so you'd be better eating in the city or bringing some picnic fixings with you.

Shuttle service in the morning was prompt and easy, delivering us to the airport without any problems.

I'd stay here again for a single night as it is decidedly cheaper than the Hilton and hey, for one night, I'd rather spend that savings on my last meal in Roma!
