Great views at a great price, but you must like children. (The staff brings children onsite.)

We had two double rooms with balcony for 180 per night. Both rooms were very good size with extremely firm mattresses on the double beds. The bathrooms were fine, but the showers were quite small.

The balconies did not have great views and were a little small but they were still nice for sitting out in the morning taking in the view of boats coming and going below.

Breakfast was fine and the service was quite friendly.

The only complaint I had was that the staff brought their children to work, one of whom was a VERY vocal, often cranky, two-year old. You could sometimes hear her screaming as early as 6:30 a.m. (even with the doors closed and earplugs in.) More than once we were trying to enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace and decided to head down the street and sit somewhere else for a little quiet time.

Also, it should be noted that this is towards the top of town so requires walking/climbing. A good thing for your waistline as you eat your way through the great Italian meals, but a tough thing sometimes on the legs.
