Classy operation, helpful staff, great {3 star} accommodations, tasty prima colazione.

This is a three star hotel located in L'Aquila centro about a 5 minute walk from the Piazza Duomo. It offers a prima colazione but no other meals. It has large modern bathrooms, cable TV, radio, laundry service. Room rates start at €65 for a single and €90 for a double. There is a parking garage available at €8 per night. There are about 30 rooms available.

Overall I give this hotel a thumbs up recommendation. I like modern, sleek interiors of the hotel. The staff speaks English and other languages (French for sure and German I think) for those who do not speak Italian. There is a Bancomat (ATM) around the corner. There is a movie theater at the end of the street. The short walk to the Piazza is convenient. Along the way there is a supermercato, also. There is a park nearby and also access to tourist sites such as Collemaggio down the street.

Breakfast offers a little more than the usual Italian caffe` and cornetto. There is a meat and cheese plate, yogurt and cereal available as well as Italian staples such as cornetti and toast, etc. Laundry service offers a one day turnaround. Piazza del Duomo is the heart of the city, and home to a traditional daily market, many stores, bars, trattorie, pizzerie and gelaterie.
