This small budget hotel was clean, the staff was helpful and the location was central yet quiet. Our room, a double, was 130 euros per night, discounted with the Rick Steves guidebook. Breakfast is available for an additional €7 but we ate at the small bar across the street. The room was clean and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet, due in part to the new, double-paned windows, as well as the location on a small street. The room had adequate storage, a desk with lamp, and a television with satellite. The bathroom had a blow-drier and the usual amenities. There's a small rooftop terrace for sunning or enjoying a glass of wine. The location is fantastic ... just minutes from the Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona and the Forum. Although a metro stop isn't nearby, taxis and buses are available on via Arenula (buses 40 & 64 go to/from Termini). We found the staff very helpful no matter what the question, and we definitely recommend this hotel. This review is the opinion of a Slow Travel member and not of slowtrav.com. |
