Gem on Lake Lugano. {3 star}

Charming, serene, with a view that is just plain heavenly. Sit in the garden and watch the swans in the lake at your feet. Swim off the dock. Take the ferry from the hotel's door to traverse Lake Lugano. Eat wonderful and reasonably priced meals in the garden on the lake.

Visit Lugano, Como, Bellagio or just enjoy the lake itself. Prices are around 115 euros per night; breakfast included. The service matches the site: kind and restful. Ask for a lake view room -- it is worth the additional price.
