This is a very nice hotel in a good location. I think I got a good deal on the room, 59 euros a night, so I was more than pleased. The room we had was bright and cheerful.

Delightful

On a lovely piazza which was filled with Italian children on school field trips during the day, the Hotel Universo was comfortable and the setting was enchanting. We had a large 2 bed room overlooking the piazza and enjoyed being in a lively but peaceful area. One could watch well-dressed business people walking to work across the piazza early in the morning and then the gaggles of laughing school children later in the day and then a quiet evening. Walk to shopping and to historical sites....and along the three mile walkway atop the ramparts. The hotel breakfast was a treat. Fresh foods offered in pleasant surroundings. Would I go back? Oh, yes.
