Great place to start exploring Rome.

The Villa Pamphili is just outside the walls of the Villa Pamphili Park. Its location is nice because it's quiet and away from all the traffic. The shuttle van from the hotel to the Vatican runs every half hour, with the return running the same. There is a metro station right at the drop off point so exploring the major sites of Rome is easy.

The restaurant offers a wonderful breakfast that is included and the meals in the evening after a long day of siteseeing are out of this world.

When the day is done you can look forward to an evening of relaxing around the pool or the bar, then it's off to a very quiet nights sleep, to get ready for the next day.

The staff is very helpful and can arrange tours or a ride to the airport. Everything needed is right there. ATM, maps, shuttle to Vatican museum just to name a few. I do highly recommend this hotel. Oh yes the price is pretty good as well, but it changes now and then.
