Wonderful starting point for Tuscany exploration. {4 stars}

The Villa San Lucchese in Poggibonsi was in every way Tuscany. It's relaxing to sit in the garden with a glass of wine talking to new found friends. Wonderful starting point to explore Tuscany and Chianti.

The train and bus station in Poggiboni have plenty of parking, and a tourist office that sells tickets to every place you want to go. My wife and I were able to see All the sights without the pain of finding a parking place. Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, and all of Chianti all within our reach for a day of exploring.

The food at the villa's restaurant? Also wonderful, to finish off a hard day of sightseeing. Breakfast in the morning served in a lovely room outside of the main Villa.

The front desk has a display of tour information that you could go over and they would even arrange to have you picked up at the villa, and yes, brought back as well.
