A lovely, inexpensive and comfortable convent in the Centre of Orveto, steps from the market. 10pm curfew in summer makes dining out a challenge.

Extremely clean, comfortable, great views over the countryside, and in the centre of Orvieto.

45 euros per night for a room with two single beds and an ensuite bathroom with shower. Small elevator available. Pleasant and patient nuns spoke little English. Only concern is the curfew of 10pm in spring/summer and 9pm in winter. Makes for an early (and lonely) dinner as most locals dine after 9pm.
