Just back from Venice staying at the Locanda Fiorita. Great location and very friendly staff. Had a nice breakfast on the terrace.

We had a fantastic stay at the Locanda Fiorita. We also stayed a night at their B&B called "Bloom," which was wonderfully decorated and so quiet.

Our children were made most welcome. The terrace at BLOOM is incredible with amazing views. Watch out for the restaurants around there, though. We had two great meals at Taverna San Trovaso just across the bridge and they were fine.

Handy hint: the Orange line Alilaguna service runs from Marco Polo airport to the San Angelo stop close to the hotel. Also, we found that restaurants in Venice close kind of early.

When: August 2007

No hot water in shower during our stay.

When I recently stayed at the hotel for 5 nights, the hot water tap of the shower in the bathroom N°4 wasn't working. When we complained at the frontdesk, the answer was that they where aware of the problem, but that the management refused to do something about it.

When checking out we complained again with the management. In a very unfriendly manner we where told they refused any negotiation about a possible discount or any compensation for this inconvenience...
