I spent a night here this fall as I had a very very early flight and had accumulated many Marriott points from a long term stay a while back. My room, as a Platinum Elite, was perfectly lovely. However, the staff was very unhelpful, although very pleasant. I had problems with the internet connection in my room (which I paid for) that were never resolved. The printer in the "Business Lounge" did not work, a situation that the desk staff would not believe until I forced the manager to come and see. The hotel charges for its shuttle, €7 per person, which is actually more than it would cost two people to take a taxi. I did ask for a taxi, as I was leaving earlier than the shuttle, and the only one they would provide was, in fact, my own private shuttle, at a cost of €30. All in all, there are probably many many cheaper and equally convenient places to spend the night before an early flight. This review is the opinion of a Slow Travel member and not of slowtrav.com. |
