The Palazzo Leti was a wonderful base for our three days in Spoleto. The signs through town directed us up the hill, and we found the entrance with little difficulty. Our room was spacious and comfortable, #404, with views to the green hills of Monteluco. We took advantage of one of the packages which included dinner at a local restaurant and tickets to some of Spoleto's sites. The hotel is less than two hundred yards from the Piazza del Mercato with restaurants and several food shops. The Duomo, Roman House, shuttle to Rocca Albornoziana, and Ponte del Torri are all within a ten minute walk. The staff of the hotel, including the owner/manager, Anna Laura Bartocci, couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating; in fact, my wife was ill the night of our package dinner and couldn't go, so when we checked out, our bill was reduced. I would have never thought to ask, they just graciously offered the concession. If there was any downside, it was the breakfast, which was the most minimal during our entire trip, but certainly nothing to deter us from returning if we find ourselves again in Spoleto.
