Found place thru friend, and the experience was excellent. Great food, wine, hosts, area, the unknown gem of Adriatic Italy. Didn't have time for cooking classes.

I found this place through a work colleague. Located in Carunchio, about 20 minutes from Vasto. Vasto is about 1 hour from Pescara. I flew into Pescara via Ryanair.

Host's name is Massimo. He picked us up in Pescara, although had I known, I would have flown into Rome since he would have picked me up there, too.

The place has just been restored and it's actually a palace. Everything was clean, and the food was excellent. Prices were also reasonable. They also offer cooking classes, and area tours but unfortunately, we didn't have enough time for that. Next time for sure! I also loved the local wine this Massimo guy made himself in a vineyard not far from the palace.

Great experience I'd recommend to anybody.
