What a lucky find. Quiet location within the walls, just off a busy piazza. Desk staff able and willing to help with all questions and an unbelievable price.

What a find. This hotel for 3 nights was the same price as our hotel in Rome for 1 night. And it was perfectly located, smack in the middle of the walled city.

No breakfast included (coffee and rolls available, though) but there are cafes in abundance within a block. Our morning preference was for one just around the corner with Mary, the parrot, outside in her cage to talk to. (Yes, I was homesick for mine!)

The rooms are on the dark side ... you might want to bring your own light bulbs -- but they are well maintained. The desk staff speak English and are very cheerful, friendly and helpful.

We can't wait to go back and spend a week here!

I recommend this {3 star} hotel with reservations due to smoky smell in my room and then pigeons in my window after opening the window to get rid of the smell.

This hotel is in a great location. Room was spacious and comfortable except for the smoky smell. Unfortunately, when I opened the windows to let in some fresh air, pigeons started arriving. They did not come in my room, but instead hung out on the window sill.

The desk staff were extremely helpful and if not for the smoky smell/pigeons I would have been happy with this hotel. I am not sure if I would stay here again. Perhaps I just had an unlucky room.

Best part of hotel was location just off P. San Michele. We didn't find hotel as charming as I'd expected from reviews of others; rooms were clean but rather dark.
