Lovely B&B conveniently located in the countryside near Parma {3 stars}

We found out about this lovely B&B from Parma Golosa Tour Company.

My husband really wanted to take a tour of production plants in the Parma area so we contacted Mirco of Parma Golosa to book a tour. When we booked our tour (which was wonderful) we asked for a B&B close to our tour location.

Mirco suggested we stay in the country at Relais Fontevivo.

The B&B was located in Fontevivo, a small town just a short distance from Parma. The B&B was a former monastery which has been lovingly restored by a young Italian couple. The wife runs the B&B and she speaks excellent English. The husband runs the restaurant which we ate at both nights.

I highly recommend this B&B not only for the location but for the warm, caring young couple who run this place. They are so accommodating and it certainly shows in the rooms, common areas, and restaurant.

The food is wonderful and the prices for the food and wine are very reasonable. We enjoyed some of the best meals of our trip at this restaurant.

The price of the B&B was 77 per night breakfast included. The meals at the restaurant were approx 60 each night with a great bottle of wine included.

If you want to visit Parma or the surrounding area do yourself a favor and stay at this B&B.
