Very nice, full service hotel located near the south end of Via Toledo. Close to port, Castel Nuovo, Teatro San Carlo, Galleria Umberto I. {4 stars}

This is a full service hotel with a large lobby bar, rooftop restaurant with a full view over the Gulf of Naples, and a conference center.

The room was exactly what I would expect from a full service Marriott hotel - good sized, well appointed and clean. Although it was the first room from the elevator lobby, it was very quiet. The window looked out onto the backs of other buildings. There was a safe in the room, as well as a refrigerator/honor bar.

Breakfast in the rooftop restaurant was not included and was a bit expensive at €15/person, but the food was good, there was a broad range of choices, and the view was spectacular.

There were several conferences going on in the hotel while we were there. The outgoing Prime Minister, Silvio Berlusconi, was attending one and walked past me in the lobby (along with several guards).

I used Marriott points to pay for this room.
