This is a small and elegant hotel right in the center of Ascoli Piceno. From the very first, it was a great experience as someone from hotel reception came out to greet me and parked my car in the hotel's private lot.

The room was very beautifully furnished in cool tones (as are the public areas). Bed was very comfortable, room and bathroom were well laid out. As the hotel is brand new, all was very high tech (wireless, etc). So it was surprising that the one problem I had was related to temperature control: I was there in early fall, with pleasant outdoor temperatures. However, once the air conditioning was off it was apparently impossible to get the fan going, so my room was rather hot. Keeping the window open helped some.

This was really a minor problem, and I was quite comfortable in general. The location was both central AND quiet, as the hotel faces a very small street.

Breakfast service was wonderful, but the buffet selection could have been better. There was, however, as much coffee and cappuccino as you wanted, and they offered to make any kind of eggs requested.
