Super location! 3 minute walk to Duomo or Accademia. Very nice rooms and bathrooms, which would be considered large by Italian standards. {3 stars}

We really enjoyed this hotel. The rooms were very clean. The hotel has only been opened a year or two, so everything is in really good shape.

The only negatives are that there isn't a common area. Breakfast is American coffee or tea, juice and homemade pie or cake and packaged cookies. You have your breakfast in your room. We really didn't mind this as there is a bar across the street which serves pastries and excellent cappucino. There is also an Internet cafe in the bar.

Our price, over Christmas, 97 per night for each double room (we had two) included a 10% discount when showing a Rick Steves tour book. Be sure to ask for this discount when emailing your reservation.

The staff was helpful when asked. They booked a Chrismas dinner for us at a restaurant down the street. Good food but a little pricey...maybe because it was Christmas night.

There is no lift. We had alot of luggage but we also had two teenage sons to carry it up and down for us. I would and will pack lighter next time.

The reception closes at 8:00 P.M. and you are given keys to the hotel entry doors. A word of advice: make sure the staff checks to make sure your keys work in all of the entry doors. Ours stuck a little and sometimes it was difficult to get in.

The hotel is (I think) rated 3 stars. We would rate the rooms, baths, cleanliness and location with regard to price..4 stars. We would definitely stay here again.
