Newly renovated hotel in Rome close to the Forum, Colosseum and Termini train station.

Roman Residence has only been open a few months, however, the owner, Stefano and his partner have many years in the travel business. They take great care to make sure that their guests are satisfied.

We decided to stay in Rome for a few extra days and Roman Residence was recommended to us by the owner of the B&B in which we had been staying. This turned out to be a very good deal for us and we very much enjoyed our stay. I lived in Europe for eight plus years and visited Rome on many occasions - this is one of the more enjoyable hotels that I have stayed at.

Rooms are newly renovated and are nicely decorated.

There is someone on duty at the hotel until 6 pm. Stefano was there each day of our stay and we very much enjoyed talking to him about Rome and getting an insight into the local way of life.

He can recommend many good, reasonably priced restaurants. There are many restaurants in the area and with a minimal effort it is easy to avoid eating at a restaurant that caters to tourists.

The hotel is located a short walk from the main train station and in the opposite direction, the forum and Colisseum can be reached in a short walk. As we enjoy walking, we actually did not take public transport and walked to all of the main tourist sites.
