Beautiful hotel in Fiumicino near Rome airport. {4 stars}

For a last night in Italy before flying out of the Rome Airport I recommend the Hotel Seccy in Fiumicino. You'll have to drive or take a taxi to the hotel, but it's definitely worthwhile.

This four-star hotel opened within the last 6 months. Located in a beautiful, old building, the interior has been completely redecorated. The rooms are large and luxurious, the staff very helpful and friendly and if you decide to include breakfast you won't be disappointed -- the colazione is one of the best I had my entire trip.

One person, one night with breakfast was 135 euros.

For a quick dinner, there's a pizza place next door; if you want something better, join the local people taking an evening stroll along the riverfront and pick a restaurant there where you can watch the people and the fishing boats.
