The hotel is next to the Duomo in Sovana. The staff is very friendly and the rooms were spacious and luxurious. The city's orginal road is under the hotel.

The hotel staff was extremely friendly and we had champagne waiting for us in our room after we checked in. The room was very spacious and very comfortable (including the bed). They have programing for their a/c and any music right there in the room.

The original road of the city is encased in glass flooring throughout the hotel and while digging for a swimming pool, they found the first Etruscan baths (not tombs like most Etruscan finds) that were supposedly used to bathe before entering the city of Sovana.

It is an incredible spot close to Sorano, Pitigliano, and Saturnia. The cost is a mere €130 per night. It was a great find!
