Fabulous place just outside Montepulciano. Everything we hoped it would be and more. Wonderful atmosphere, food, staff, pool, views. Highly recommend! {4 star}

A slice of heaven located just outside of Montepulciano - a few minutes drive (not walkable). It has a wonderful "quiet country elegance" setting; offering rooms, suites and apartments with an infinity edge pool overlooking incredible views. We stayed in a suite on the main floor - "Il Balcone" - again with beautiful views and a small balcony. The sitting room was very pretty and the bedroom was spacious with the big beamed ceiling.

Breakfast was a great spread with 3 homemade cakes, croissants, meats & cheese, 6 pots of marmalade, 4 pots of honey, yogurt, cereal, fruit. Wonderful touches everywhere. They offer half-board or you could just tell them that day if you wished to dine there in the evening. €30 per person for 4 courses; menu posted in the morning. We had dinner in the garden: pecorino pudding (yum!), pasta with tomato or meat sauce, turkey (I had Florentine steak for extra charge) and dessert - all beautifully presented and served.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. A real treasure of a place. Will definitely return.
